Restoring mask Repair & Protect, Tresemme

Tested by BeautyHack editor Julia Kozoliy

The fact that Tresemme products are worth trying, Katya Kopteva, the author of the telegram channel, told me in an interview. rapupupunzel (read the full text of our conversation on link). I am not a snob in matters of “cans”, although between a budgetary and an expensive remedy I tend to lean towards the latter – you won’t relax with porous hair. But if you choose treatments in order to dispel the myth about beauty pricing, then let it be Tresemme. Omitting the marketing promise to restore hair in 3 minutes after two years of regular damage, this is what the mask actually does: It adds shine to hair, removes frizz and visually thickens. I did not even pull the strands for brushing, they still lay well after drying with a hairdryer.

The product has a dense consistency, I distribute it along the length and carefully work out the tips. They instantly react to leaving and push less – for me this is an indicator of quality. The only thing: the product cannot be called super-organic – silicones are in the first positions in the list of ingredients – but it doesn’t bother me, I use the mask once every two weeks, and also don’t forget about a deep-cleansing shampoo once a month.

Mask for intensive moisturizing Inner Home, ICON

Tested by BeautyHack Senior Editor Anya Sherstneva

Now my hair looks dry and frizzy, but beautiful curls are out of the question. To remedy the situation, the master advised adding a high-quality moisturizer to the care. I chose Inner Home from ICON

It turned out to be very dense and creamy in texture. The manufacturer advises to apply the mask for two minutes after using the shampoo, or keep it for 15 minutes if the hair is severely damaged (this is my option!).

The moisturizer contains babassu and tea tree seed oils, amino acids. After using the mask, I noticed a real visual effect: the hair shone, became soft and silky. But the best part is that they dried themselves in neat curls – no styling was required.

Hair restoration nectar mask for normal and oily hair “Reconstruction, Shine and Shine”, Alif

Tested by BeautyHack special correspondent Alexandra Grishina

To be honest, I tested only the kitchen from the halal. But a couple of weeks ago I got this mask from the Alif brand, which specializes in the production of cosmetics in strict accordance with the Shariah standards.

Everything would be fine, but everyone will envy the hair of oriental women. It was necessary to understand how this mask would help me.

Here I have already talked about the benefits of black seed oil, especially in hair care. Among the components of this nectar mask are three oils, including black cumin (as well as Arabian jasmine and Damask rose oils). Due to this composition, it works no worse than salon care: the hair shines and becomes denser, it is much easier to create a beautiful volume at home (I rarely succeed).

If you are familiar with the lamination procedure, then the effect of this mask is about the same: the hair is soft, shiny, and the ends seem to be “sealed”.

Thermal mask Neuro Repair HeatCTRL Treatment, Paul Mitchell

Tested by BeautyHack editor Julia Kozoliy

My favorite line from Paul Mitchell is Tee Tree Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. An unrealistically pleasant chill that wakes up, invigorates, and relaxes at the same time – not a single hot summer helped me out! This year I added the Neuro Repair HeatCTRL Treatment mask to the treatment. Its peculiarity is in thermal protection, which continues to act after the product is washed off. Paul Mitchell has come up with a technology that reduces the rate of heat transfer between the hairdryer (or styler) and the hair. I hold the mask for 15-20 minutes (the declared 5 is not enough), and then I wash it off with water and start drying: after exposure to warm air from the hair dryer, the cuticle lies smoother, the hair does not flicker on the crown, and the ends look healthier! The mask has a convenient packaging – you can take it on trips.

Jojoba recovery night mask, Yves Rocher

Tested by BeautyHack special correspondent Daria Mironova

Trusting the inscription “night mask” on the package, I generously applied a thick cream with a sweet aroma along the entire length and went to bed, and in the morning, as always, I washed my hair with my constant shampoo and balm. When the hair was dry, it was soft and dense, easy to comb and looked very healthy.

And only after that I found out that the remedy is recommended to be used according to a different scheme: it replaces indelible care, is applied in a small amount at night, and in the morning you can comb your hair and go about business. Tried the same: no weighting, hair doesn’t look messy after 8 hours of detox overnight.

If you use the product according to the instructions, it turns out much more economically, and there is a noticeable cumulative effect: the hair becomes shiny and denser.

Mask for very damaged hair Pro Fiber Reconstruct, L’Oreal Professionnel

Tested by BeautyHack special correspondent Daria Mironova

Transparent packaging, and inside – a layered creamy “dessert” with a sweet aroma. The active ingredient of the product is the Aptyl 100 molecule, it is designed to restore the damaged hair structure and prevent repeated damage. According to the instructions, it is necessary to apply 37 grams of the mask, but, of course, I did everything by eye. Before distributing the composition along the length, you need to dry your hair with a towel for greater efficiency. The manufacturer advises to keep the mask for only 5 minutes, I applied it for 10. After drying, the hair is shinier and denser, the ends look vigorous, like after a haircut, soft and easy to comb. I use Pro Fiber Reconstruct once a week when I feel like my ends need sos help and nourishment.

Restoring conditioning mask Universal Pro-therapy Restoring & Replumpling, Nyce

Tested by BeautyHack editorial assistant Anna Khobotova

15 years ago, a company of young designers and chemists created a series of oil-based, ammonia-free hair dyes – this was the first NYCE product. All brand products are free of parabens, silicones, mineral oils, dyes and formaldehyde derivatives.

I got into my hands a hair mask from the Biorganicare line. The remedies in this line are divided into three groups: preparation, treatment and deep therapy. The mask belongs to the “treatment” subgroup.

The product is 90% natural. The base is a complex of sea satin plant extracts that improve hair condition, and an extract of certified organic argan oil from the fruits of Moroccan argan, rich in linoleic acid, antioxidants (gives hair shine and elasticity).

The manufacturer recommends applying the mask to dry hair. Then I wrap them in a towel and leave for 15 minutes.

After the first application, I already saw the difference! Hair becomes soft, tangle-free, easy to style and it seems that the summer heat does not affect them in any way!

Intensive nourishing mask Nutrizion ricca mask, Kemon

Tested by BeautyHack project manager Anastasia Lyagushkina

A white matte tube with a “wooden” lid captivated my inner esthete at first sight. The contents did not disappoint either: a moderately thick product that can smooth and detangle hair instantly.

I keep the mask for 5-8 minutes, rinse it off thoroughly, blow-dry my hair and voila! No additional care is required, including thermal protection, the mask creates a film, thereby protecting from mechanical damage and ultraviolet radiation.

After the first application, the hair became noticeably more shiny, vibrant and hydrated.

The product is certified by Love Nature and ICEA Vegan.
