The Balm How ‘Bout Them Apples palette of creamy blush and lipsticks has the unusual name “How about these apples?”. To find out the answer to this question, you will have to read this article to the end!
Description of the palette of cream blush and lipstick The Balm How ‘Bout Them Apples
Inside the palette there are 6 cream apples with different, radically different shades.
Opposite each of them is an attractive man, which is an integral part of the design that is characteristic of theBalm. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
Description of shades and swatch
One of the calmest shades in the palette is CIDER.
Next to it is the brightest color – COBBLER.
Not flashy, but not modest either – PIE.
This is how all three shades that I have listed look like: CIDER, COBBLER, PIE
The analogue of the famous Nars Blush Orgazm and Sleek Blush is Rose Gold called CRISP.
The classic shade that I call “frosty” is CANDY.
A neutral CARAMEL shade, which is difficult to classify, but nevertheless it looks natural.
Swatch all three shades: CRISP, CANDY, CARAMEL
And a common memory photo of all the “guys” together).
If we consider TheBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples as a palette of blush, then there are solid pluses:
- saturated pigment
- matte (not wet!) finish
- colors for all occasions
- the ability to mix different shades
- ease of application
- hassle-free shading
If we talk about it as a lip palette, then here are some disadvantages:
- due to the matte finish, all the smallest irregularities of the skin of the lips are emphasized: peeling, cracks, uneven relief, etc.
- even if the lips are in perfect condition, then after a while you will feel a feeling of dryness.
There is only one conclusion, TheBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples palette is great as a blush and not very much for lips. Alas, they failed to make the palette universal, but at least one type of product – blush – they succeeded!
