General impression

If we consider TheBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples as a palette of blush, then there are solid pluses:

  • saturated pigment
  • matte (not wet!) finish
  • colors for all occasions
  • the ability to mix different shades
  • ease of application
  • hassle-free shading

If we talk about it as a lip palette, then here are some disadvantages:

  • due to the matte finish, all the smallest irregularities of the skin of the lips are emphasized: peeling, cracks, uneven relief, etc.
  • even if the lips are in perfect condition, then after a while you will feel a feeling of dryness.

There is only one conclusion, TheBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples palette is great as a blush and not very much for lips. Alas, they failed to make the palette universal, but at least one type of product – blush – they succeeded!
