I consider the appearance of the Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection palette on the blog exclusive. This is my first Too Faced eyeshadow palette that I bought the other day and am ready to tell you about it right now!
The Too Faced brand has long been competing with the renowned Urban Decay brand. They are united by: affordable price and quality. That’s just about the Urban Decay palettes you’ve read more than once on the blog, but about Too Faced never.
First, let’s discuss the packaging.
The Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection palette is made in a book format, which is convenient for the travel option and not so for the worker. The cardboard lightens its weight so that the palette is not felt in the hands.
Now about the flowers themselves.
There are 9 shades in total that you should know about:
- darker shades are better pigmented than light shades
- shadows dust and crumble
Agree, the disadvantages make you doubt not only the quality of the palette, but also its purchase. But there is also a downside for those who:
- looking for a palette for every day
- prefers to change the daytime make-up to the evening one
- uses only basic shadow colors
- hate the “dirty” shades that are obtained when mixing them
All this you get from the Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection palette.
As proof of the 4th point, I showed in one of the lessons how I mixed the brown shade of “Coffee Bean” with “Midnight”. At the same time, the color became more saturated, but not dirty in shade. This is a common problem when dealing with palettes like the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Everyone knows that matte shades are some of the most capricious in shading and application, which cannot be said about the Too Faced palette. You can find an approach to them, which is why they deserve attention.
How do you like the shadows of the Too Faced brand?
